Conclusion
In this lab, we constructed a data table
that showed the results of our rocket launch. First we found the height that the
rocket went. We did this by finding the tangent of the angle that our rocket
flew, then finding the missing side length. Our rocket went to a height of 45
feet. After that we had to find the velocity of the rocket. We divided the
height (45 feet) to the time (4.67b seconds). Our results were 3.04 meters per seconds.
Soon we had to find the theoretical flight distance. We plugged the max height
into the hang time equation and doubled that value. Then that gave us the
finalized theoretical height distance. The difference between our actual and
theoretical flight time was 33 percent.
