My Junior year of high school has proved to be the most difficult. Classes have become more intense, more important, and more relevant. In previous years I was able to handle all of my responsibilities with ease, but this year I experienced a surge of school work, responsibility, and the inevitable fact of growing up. I have spent countless hours doing relevant, yet challenging school work. With the introduction of Chemistry, I have had to study ideas and concepts extensively and apply myself and study skills. I was pushed out of my comfort zone into a highly successful internship, wrestled with the meaning of life and swan dived into college prep. With all this intense schooling though, I have found my place and meaning, creating unforgettable friendships, experienced some pretty awesome events and grew into a young adult. I contribute my success in junior year to the incredible support system of my mom, dad, stepmom, stepdad, other family, teachers, but especially my close friends. Having people around you who are going through same struggles and trials creates a better system and allows you to relax. Without this group of people I do not how I would have done this year.
